Twitter Topic #Ustream and #DynastyDJs ... Let's Goooooo!!!

Hey everyone, I know it's been a while but I'm back. Last year I mentioned that Youtube would become the next American Idol...and we have seen that with a few artist here lately, i.e; Dondria(courtsey of JD&SoSoDef) and Justin Bieber(courtsey of Usher). Well now there's another medium...Ustream! I have to say streaming live footage with chatting capability is a notch above Youtube (no diss to Youtube). Ustream has opened up a major marketing tool for DJ's and other's as well. The experience that it gives the viewers/listeners is #Extra, #Extra! Not only are the viewers able to see real-time DJing, but they are able to chat with them and make requests to create their own radio experience, now tell me that's not HOT!!! The masterminds behind this get two thumbs and two big toes up from me(lol, smiley face :-)). I simply love it, escpecially for what I do....management, marketing, ect., of DJ's for now. The group that I do marketing and promotions for is Dynasty DJ's out of Cleveland, OH. They have a radio show on Ustream, Dynasty-Radio All I do is invite the audience that I'm marketing to, to come and check them out, and from there they make a decision and that leads to a phone call for me...YEAH ME!! I have been able to land interviews, introduce up&coming artist as well as their music, and all of this made possible by Ustream...Big SHOUT OUT!!! to Ustream. Some of you might be thinking why the management, etc.. of DJ's. If you look back to the inception of Hip-Hop, you had your artist and a DJ. The DJ was the hype-man, no DJ no party, no DJ no hype. They fed off of each other, it was a chemistry, and we loved it!! As I search the internet, look at archived videos and performances, read the comments left by the viewers, and talk with some artists in the industry...hip-hop is dead as we (19th & 20th century listeners) use to know it to be. Thats for another discussion, but what I'm talking about, is introducing back into the atmosphere the importance of the DJ. Sean "Diddy" Combs just announced on Twitter a few days ago (May 29th @ 2:28pm EST) that he signed DJ Prostyle to BadBoy Management....the DJ is important people...#TRUST! Watch out for Dynasty DJ's...they comin' atcha, they gettin' it in!!! Dynasty DJ's and Pyoure Ent Mgmt...that's wuz up!!!

PYOURE Entertainment....Get the Promotion You Need!

I finally did it...after about a year of vacillating back and forth....the gestation period is over.....Pyoure (pronounced pure) is born!

Music has been a passion of mine since I was little....I have an eclectic pallet when it comes to the tunes.....I remember at the age of 10 years old, sitting in our living room, with the blue light in the lamp, and going through our album collection....we had Kenny Rogers, Bee Gees, Pink Floyd, The Crusaders, Blood, Sweat & Tears, Ohio Players, Hall & Oats, Ella Fitzgerald, the Ojays, the whole Jackson Five collection, instrumentals, etc. So this direction just feels right.

I like making things happen, finding solutions, turning no's into yes's, 1's into 10's, creating opportunities, and thinking outside the box. I truly believe that you are only limited by your thinking, and with that being said....that's what I like to call Divatude!

So when you think of Pyoure Entertainment, that is what I will be bringing you, pure entertainment, with a lot of Divatude!

My first project is the promotion and marketing of Dynasty DJ's in the Queen City, with DeeJay Centipede. It's going to be a challenge but I'm just the lady for the job! I will be reaching out to all the night club spots, contacting event planners, going to the college campuses, even reaching out to other DJ's....competition is healthy, keeps you on your toes, only ones not confident in their skills will be intimidated by other talent.

For my internet family in the "clouds" I'm looking for you to support our live DJ shows on dynasty-radio. Technology is a beautiful thing, who would have ever thought that the day would come when you could stream yourself into the homes of millions. You will be able to chat with our DJ's, and make song requests....how hot is that!

My job is to get you to listen to it, to participate with it, to want more of it, and to anticipate it. Challenge us to bring you old and new.

Keep it Pyoure and keep it one hundred!

NeoSoul the new R&B

The Definition: Neo-soul is a musical genre that fuses contemporary R&B and 1970s-style soul with elements of hip-hop. It differs from contemporary R&B in that it's obviously more soulful, and it also tends to have deeper messages and meanings than R&B.

This artist is truly the essence of what this definition personifies......from me to you.....ENJOY!

ERIC ROBERSON

I was first introduced to his music in 2007, my sister let me hear one of his songs on her Zune, I was like okay, he sounds good. So I asked her how did she hear about him. She told me that there was a concert in 2006 in Charlotte, NC, and that Eric Roberson was the opening act for some people she had never heard of, but that was also the first time she had ever saw or heard of Eric aka Erro. Needless to say, she became a fan instantly. She has all his albums from the "Left" to the "Vault 1.5". Well about 2 weeks ago, I was on FaceBook and one of my friends was featuring Eric Robersons video from YouTube Softest Lips, so I took a listen, then I clicked another video, and another, until I just went and downloaded about 5 albums which includes his new one Music Fan First.....all I have to say is FIRE!!!!

I put together a couple of my favorite tracks off the new album I hope you like!

New Artist Showcase - Dondria aka Phatfffat

I truly enjoy all types of music, but I have to say that I’m rather partial to R&B and it’s sub-categories. When I’m on the computer, I’m creating all types of play-lists and checking out YouTube. Well the other night (Friday) to be exact, I was listening to Eric Roberson (NeoSoul Artist…simply FIRE!!!)

So anyway, I just randomly started listening to various artists, then I decided to click on some of the homemade videos, and I must tell you, I think that YouTube is the next American Idol; the raw talent is just phenomenal. I came across two young ladies one by the name of Alyss and the other Dondria aka Phatfffat.

Dondria’s YouTube journey earned her this blog. Her video diary started with this performance of “Joyful-Joyful:”

Then 10/17/06 she recorded “Unfaithful” by Rihanna:

Then 8/20/2007 she recorded “Listen” by BeyoncĂ© and announced her unofficial start to her music career with Producer Jermaine Dupri:

I had to include this video, because I love duets, and they simply laid this one out. This is Dondria aka Phatfffat and Corey aka Broadway on 10/03/2008 singing “No Air” by Jordin Sparks ft Chris Brown:

This video was recorded in the midst of her recording her music for her album. She truly appreciates her fans, and I know that will carry her along way....your fans can make you or break you, so staying true to them and keeping your word is important.

She mentioned in one of her videos that she was going to keep on making these home videos, and I understand why, if you read the comments on some of her YouTube pages, people have song requests, and Dondria actually reads her comments and answers those requests by dedicating that song to them.

This gives her fans a personal connection with her that they might not get on the album. Can you imagine being able to contact your favorite artist and for free, and have them sing one of your requested songs as if you were on the radio and calling the DJ and telling them to play your favorite song.....well, that's what Dondria aka Phatfffat is doing, she's giving her fans the ultimate experience, and that's what they want. This is what will make her unique and stand out from the rest.

Dondria truly has a promising career, her voice is beautiful, her singing is effortless. As I clicked on video after video, I have to admit, I was looking for her to bomb, but she stayed consistent. I was like WOW!

Now for the album, what I really hope JD will do, is allow Corey aka Broadway(a good friend of Dondria, they have a few duets together on YouTube) to be featured on one of her singles, their voices blend so well together.

In my opinion, if packaged right she could be put in the same category with Rihanna, topping charts and crossing over.

Click here Dondria aka Phatfffat to continue to follow her journey into her musical career.

I want to thank YouTube for helping to launch careers, making dreams come true, and giving us the "Next Rising Star"! Who will be next......?
